eJust Systems – a Versaterm Public Safety Company

Versaterm Public Safety is changing the relationship between public safety agencies and their software providers. Everything we do originates from our focus on customer experience and outcomes. We are fueling the solutions of tomorrow, solving real problems while streamlining operations.

eJust System’s CMS is time-tested and established. As early as 1994, eJust launched its first commercial version of its CMS software with London Police Service. Since then we’ve experienced measured and steady growth. Some key dates in our history are as follows:

1994 – eJust launches inaugural release of its CMS for London Police Service and the Canadian Police Research Centre

1995 – Aylmer Police Service installs inCHARGE

1996 – Haldimand-Norfolk Police Service select inCHARGE

1999 – eJust installs CMS for Ottawa Police Service

2001 – eJust welcomes Kingston Police Service to the CMS client roster

2002 – eJust contracts to participate in Ontario Integrated Justice Project. ijXware is introduced to the Integrated Justice market

2003 – eJust releases CMS v3.2 complete with Youth Criminal Justice Act updates

2005 – Durham, York and Niagara Regional Police Service become eJust clients

2006 – eJust releases eJust-CMS 5.1 which includes the first fully digital disclosure capability of its kind in North America

2008 – eJust releases version 5.3, which includes e-View, the first online disclosure viewing capability of its kind

2009 – eJust releases version 6.0, a completely refreshed version using 4JS’ Genero interface

2010 – eJust moves headquarters to Stratford, Ontario

2012 – eJust welcomes the Toronto Police Service as a CMS client

2013 – Enhanced integration with the Ministry of the Attorney General Crown Case Management System –SCOPE

2014 – v6.1 release with over 100 new features

2015 – Rollout of SCOPE integration module to all remaining Ontario customers sites

2015 – Version 6.2 beta release with over 75 new features

2016 – Version 6.2 rollout to all customers

2017 – Version 6.3 rollout to all customers

2018 – eJust welcomes Fredericton and Kennebecasis NB as eJust-CMS clients

2019 – eJust welcomes Miramichi, Bathurst, BNPP, Edmundston, Woodstock, and Grand Falls NB as eJust-CMS clients

2019 – Version 6.4 rollout

2019 – eForms product available

2019 – eJust responds to the passing of Bill C-75 with a major overhaul of our Criminal wordings database and Statutory Forms

2020 – eJust welcomes Ministry of the Solicitor General as eJust-CMS client for development of Criminal eIntake Project

2021 – eJust welcomes Halifax NS as eJust-CMS client

2021 – eJust becomes part of Versaterm – a Public Safety Company

2021 – Version 6.5 rollout to customers

2021 – Criminal eIntake project launched in York (Pilot Site), Durham and Toronto
